Energy is the driving force behind prosperity and progress and its structure is now being redesigned, entailing a transition that relies heavily on the benevolence of citizens and companies. They can reduce their energy consumption and attach importance to efficiency when buying new appliances.

Computers have never been the focus of attention when it comes to low power consumption. Consumers are being flooded with ads offering powerful processors, bigger screens and all kinds of upgrades that most computer users don’t even need. People who want differently have nowhere to go because low power computers as such aren’t being offered anywhere. WESAPO wants to give this growing group of people an alternative by composing low power computer systems and thus help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
