WESAPO was started out of dissatisfaction with the lack of low power computers on offer
and out of concern with the enhanced greenhouse effect and ensuing climate change. Our business concept is portrayed best by
what the abbreviation WESAPO stands for: We Save Power.
These are our goals:
Research the power consumption of computer hardware and use that to develop low power PCs.
Persuade
average computer users and small companies to buy low power computer
systems.
Make sure
consumers get to see the exact power consumption of computer systems
on offer.
Encourage
manufacturers to make their products more power efficient.
All of this to
establish a reduction of greenhouse gases so that the effects of
climate change are minimized.
